Now a days more companies are moving with minimalistic logos.
Top Logos that have become Minimalistic:

Chrome:

Chrome logos

chrome has updated its logo in 2022.

Pros:

  • More Vibrant
  • Clearer than 2014

Cons:

  • Not much has changed
  • Not very noticeable to the blind eye
  • Nothing new comes from it.

Netflix:

Netflix Logos

Pros:

  • Straight to the point
  • Easier for marketing material
  • Fits the new modern world

Cons:

  • Not very noticeable to those who do not own Netflix
  • Keeps the famous red but loses the nostalgia

Google:

Goole logos

Pros:

  • More legible
  • Keeps the color scheme
  • Looks fresh and new
  • Looks better on Screens

Pros:

Warner Bros. Pictures:

Pros:

  • Easier for marketing
  • Simple
  • Two-color use only

Cons:

  • Loses original identity
  • Keeps the font choice, but gets rid of signature colors.
  • Newer generations may not know what WB stands for without the banner.

Mastercard:

Pros:

  • Pleasing to the eyes
  • Very simplistic sans serif used that gives it a more modern look
  • Still looks similar to the original

Cons:

  • Places trust that everyone knows what company they are even after losing the pattern in the center and the original text in the logo.

Sprite:

Pros:

  • Straight to the point
  • Used a similar shape for the “i” and “t” like the border of the original logo.

Cons:

  • Different green
  • Similar font but newer adjustments that can look strange

Pringles:

Pros:

  • Still recognizable
  • Uses the same Pringles text
  • Does not change the red

Cons:

  • Loses the iconic feel (can be argued)

Baskin Robins:

Baskin Robbins

Pros:

  • Has a new look
  • Fresh and modern
  • Good legibility

Cons:

  • Looks like a rebranded logo rather than an edited logo
  • Loses all the colors except the pink.
  • Uses a fully new font never seen before
  • Is not recognizable.
  • The color scheme fits more of a coffee vibe rather than ice cream.

Burger King:

Burger King Logos

Pros:

  • Fresh
  • keeps the same idea
  • Creative
  • Simple

Cons:

  • While creativity loses originality
  • Flat (can be positive in some ways)
  • Changes the original type to rounded, losing signature text
